As you read this book, a variety of methods ma be used to understand what the Lord has for you through this text. You may take notes, walk, or just listen as you search the scripture. choose a method or combination that is best for you and pray as you go. If you read quickly, return to the scripture and analogies to let the Lord speak to you through each odea or situation. He will show you what to glean from His words.
The first 6 sections contain scripture from Job 38-42. As you read, try to envision all that God intended for Job to experience. The dialogue between God and Job reveals an attitude with which many of us can identify. Pay close attention to the descriptions the Lord uses to show His sovereignty and control. As you dwell on God’s words, it is our prayer that you will begin to see what God has done and who He is.
The last 6 sections entwine the analogies the Lord gave us with scripture to enable you, in some form, to apply God’s concepts to experience the magnitude of His character. Hopefully, the analogies will create visual images that might enhance your awareness of God’s beautiful creations.
Ponder the questions, search your heart, and listen for God’s voice.
